Todd's Dirt - The BAYOU DIRT Seasoning

I have created my own Creole blend and mixed it in with the THE ORIGINAL Todd's DIRT. It is a gourmet seasoning that has 16 spices with NO MSG and is GLUTEN FREE, just 100% natural seasonings. The first thing you notice is the great creole/cajun style taste. The second thing it does not have the salty lingering effects that you get after tasting similar seasonings. It is lower in sodium and I only use Kosher salt, not ionized salt like the others on the market. Thirdly the very nice spicey burn that lingers in your mouth.

Description I will first say that I am from New Orleans and think that I know Creole cooking. My husband bought me this bottle and thought I may like it. I do not like it, I LOVE IT. I make my own Creole seasoning myself, but have to say this stuff is amazing. It has really nice flavor with just the right amount of heat. It is also not salty at all, but has enough to make it just right. I have no idea how Todd's Dirt does it, but this seasoning is great.

Description I receive this bottle for Christmas in a gift basket sent by my sister. I was already a big fan of the Original Todd's Dirt. This seasoning is a winner. The first thing I made was the Dirty Dip with Bayou. Wow everybody loved it. We have since made chili and blackened some chicken and hamburgers. It has great flavor with a nice kick. And it is not salty, but has enough salt that makes it perfect. Plus it is Gluten free which I like, because my husband does not react well with things with Gluten. Another great product by Todd the dirt man.

Description I was a huge fan of Tony Chachere Creole seasoning until I tried the Bayou Dirt. Todd is exactly right with what he says on the bottle. I put it on everything that I want to spice up. It is not all salty and the balance of the seasoning of salt and heat, along with the flavors go really blened perfectly. I love it in Chili and wings. If you like Creole style seasoning, this is a winner. Sorry Tony, Bayou Dirt took your place in my spice cabinet.

Description I am already a fan of the Original Dirt. I went out and bought the Bayou Dirt because I love other Cajun seasonings like Tony's and Slap Your Momma. I have to tell you I will no longer use the others. Bayou Dirt is amazing. It has got great flavor with just the right amount of heat. It is very well balanced and is NOT SALTY. Which the others are very salty. I have put this on many things, chicken, steak, pork chops, Pulled pork, ribs and hamburgers. It is that good.

Description I have used many of other Creole and Cajun seasonings on the market. None of them compare to Bayou Dirt. I have used this in Jumbo, Jambalaya, and other dishes. What I love about it is the flavor and the heat, with out that salty taste. I have also loved it on Ribs, wings, steak, hamburgers and eggs. Love it.

Description We used some Todd's Dirt-Bayou Dirt Seasoning for blackened catfish. This seasoning mix is a terrific combination of savory spices with a nice amount of heat. Definitely not too hot or salty! What we liked best about it is the fact that you can really taste the herbs (oregano, basil, thyme, sage, & rosemary) along with the peppers, onions, and other spices. It is very balanced and no particular flavor overpowers the others. Which makes it especially versatile and good for just about any savory dish. Use this liberally and add a little more cayenne when you want more heat.
